Next to foundation, concealer is just as important to me. There is no way foundation alone is going to conceal my dark circles and blemishes. For the last 6 years, I’ve stuck to one concealer. That is the MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer. But because of its glass pump packaging I’ve dropped and broken well over 7 of them. I absolutely love its fluid formula and how well it matches my skins undertone and that’s probably why I continued to repurchase. In search of a less fragile product, I recently tried out the MAC Studio Finish Concealer. MAC Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation

This Spring/Summer season I have ditched my thicker foundations for more water-based ones. Like the MAC Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation I’ve been trying out . I have used MAC products for as long as I can remember (thanks to my mom for initially sparking my addiction with my first lipsticks ever being from MAC). That’s because I need full coverage products and MAC delivers on that. The only problem I have is that their foundations don’t sit well with my extremely dry skin. Otherwise the coverage and colour selection is all there.I think what draws me to the water-based, serum-like foundations is the fact that they 1. use droppers to dispense the product and 2. I am all about taupe and brown lip shades but during the Summer time I like to opt for something a little lighter. Recently, I found my favourite lip combo and wanted to share the Perfect Pink Lip by MAC with you.This perfect pink lip combo consists of MAC’s Robust Pushglass and Huggable Lipstick in the shade Seoul-Ful. Huggable Lipstick in Seoul-Ful ($24 CAD) is from MAC’s Transformed Huggable Lip Colours Collection. It is described as a light, creamy pink. It’s what you would imagine the perfect pink rose to look like. One application provides full coverage. Seoul-Ful wears for 4+ hours and that may be because of it’s extremely creamy consistency. Blue Nectar & Fashion Pack by MAC

I wanted to share some gems from two recent launches, Blue Nectar & Fashion Pack by MAC. The MAC Blue Nectar Collection features 12 lipsticks and six Plush glasses. I tried out and reviewed the shades Lust Extract, Barbecue, Ablaze and Lured In. The Fashion Pack Collection revolves around bold shades. Stylist’s Tip and Special Order are perfect examples of the vivacious hues this collection has to offer. Starting off with the Blue Nectar Collection Lust Extract Lipstick is described as a deep purple with a matte finish. It is a deep royal purple, with cool undertones but definitely not matte. Which is totally fine with me. Used with a lip liner (Vino by MAC), it really helps to prolong the wear time and allow for a much more opaque application. MAC Future Collection is all about luminous products. With a ton of shimmery shades, I’m glad to see futuristic makeup keeps glowing makeup looks in mind. I tried out products like the Eye Gloss and Lustre Drops, which only fueled my obsession for highlight and shimmer products. As well Mineralize Glass and Mineralize Rich Lipsticks in shades I normally wouldn’t reach for.I have listed the full MAC Future collection at the end of the post. The Future MAC Collection incorporated unique textures and enough shimmer to last a life time. Starting off with the Mineralize Glass ($19.60 CAD), in the shade Interspatial, is a multi-colored, shimmer packed gloss. Since it is a clear gloss with glitter, it can be worn alone for a luminous look or added over top to your lip creation for a dewy pout. MAC Vibe Tribe Collection

I have to commend Mac Cosmetics latest collections and their packaging! The MAC Vibe Tribe Collection, said to be inspired by music festivals features many bright colours and bold patterns. I was very excited for this collection as it featured looks with bold eyes, bronzed skin and bright lips.The primary and secondary packing on the Vibe Tribe Collection is a tribal pattern, which matches the name of the collection spot on. I have included details of the entire collection at the bottom of the post. A few of the products I tried out are, Lipstick in Tanarama, Patentpolish Lip Pencil in Teen Dream and Technakohl Liner in Snowed In. MAC Brooke Candy 2016 Collection

When I first saw the MAC Brooke Candy 2016 Collection, I lost it. Very rarely are there collections that I love every single product in it and that appeals to so many different complexions. The Brooke Candy collection is a second collaboration, the first was in the Fall of 2015. The collection is beautifully packaged in gunmetal casing with splattered paint effects.I love MAC’s original packaging but love seeing Limited Edition packaging that carries on to the primary packaging as well.Brooke Candy consists of bold and everyday shades. Nudes, Plums and Taupe shades caught my attention first. M·A·C’s Future Forward Collection is a collaboration with pop star Halsey, R&B singer Tinashe, rapper Dej Loaf and modern funk queen Lion Babe. Each have a bold statement limited edition product. MAC Cosmetics, is literally my first love. With every post I put up on my blog, I somehow end up mentioning or referring a similar MAC product. So it’s no secret how much I obsess over MAC. Good Morning! I wanted to share with you some makeup products that are perfect for creating looks for the Fall and upcoming Holidays. I tried out a few of Anna Belle’s cosmetics, including the: Stay Sharp Waterproof Lip Liners and Smokey Nudes Palette. As well as Marcelle’s Cosmetics retractable brow pencil. The idea behind the Stay Sharp Waterproof Lip liners it is that in addition to the retractable liners, which give you a dull tip, the twist on cap includes a sharpener. So whenever you twist on the cap, the blades sharpen your lip liner for you and store the shavings, so there’s no mess. The shades I tried out are: Berry, Glam Red and Nude. They retail for $5.95. The brow pencil is retractable in the shade Dark Brown. It is the perfect shade for darker brows. The comb/brush on the opposite end is very dense and can be used to comb your eyebrows out…
