Fermented Vegan Proteins+

Fermented Vegan Proteins+

Today, I wanted to share something a little different than my usual makeup posts. Although, lifestyle posts are not new to my blog, supplements are. I recently tried out protein supplements by Genuine Health, a nutritional supplement company, right here in Toronto. Including different flavours of Fermented Vegan Proteins+ supplements, both powder and bars. The purpose of this review is to give you my personal experience, which is relevant if you have a sensitive digestive system, like myself. As well as if you have not had a pleasant experience with protein supplements in the past. imageA little background story about my experience with protein supplements in the past are that, they absolutely did not settle well with me. I experienced so much bloating and uneasiness that I never thought twice about it. I generally have a sensitive stomach, so I am always mindful of the foods I consume. I did my fair share of reading about these products prior to trying them out.

Now, although this is a vegan product, I do not follow a vegan/vegetarian diet.
imageIn an attempt to better my diet and consume a more protein rich diet, I gave the Fermented Vegan Proteins+ a try. As their number one claim is better digestion. Check. It also says you won’t experience any bloating. Double check.

This line of Fermented Vegan Proteins+, consists of protein bars, powders and more.

The protein bars are available in the following flavours:  Dark Chocolate Almond, Double Chocolate Chip, Lemon Coconut and Peanut Butter ChocolateimageThe bars are chewy with a crunch. The protein bars are actually delicious and not at all what I had imagined them to be like. I can understand why they make for perfect snacks and really do have the power to keep you going in between meals. These bars contain 13g of vegan protein!

These products contain high quality ingredients and superfoods. See below for an example of the ingredients list.imageimageThe protein powder is available in a variety of flavours like Natural Vanilla & Chocolate as well as unsweetened and unflavoured. It blends really well, without any clumps and whether you mix it with water, almond milk or your choice of liquid, it’s such an easy way of consuming 20g of plant-based protein.imageAlthough I am a protein newbie, I incorporated the Vanilla Protein Powder to recreate a simple banana bread recipe of mine and was ecstatic with the outcome! Even though it is still in the early stages, I have not experienced any unpleasant side effects from taking Fermented Vegan Proteins+. Absolutely zero bloating. If you’re looking for a protein supplement and have the same concerns I do, I would recommend checking them out.

You can check out the products I mentioned, as well as Genuine Health’s full line at www.genuinehealth.com.. 🙂
