I wanted to share with you a few products I recently tried out by the brand AlureVé. I tried out the AlureVé Skincare Regime for 3 days. Although I don’t currently have any aging concerns at this very moment in time, I do believe taking preventative measures help in the long run. Which is why I was eager to try out this regime. The Alureve system consists of 3 products, which are:
I absolutely adore planners, cards or any form of stationary. Miniature form, embossed with golden lettering, you name it, I’ll buy them all. This past Christmas I posted a few Holiday cards by Lionheart Prints on my Instagram @AIISHWARYA.S.
I’m always on the hunt for a convenient hair removal method meant for sensitive skin. My preferred methods for facial hair removal are threading and waxing. Although I love the convenience of hair removal lotions, I HATE the ingrown hair they cause and the burning sensation afterwards. I recall being recommended Velvet Touch Facial Hair Remover by a friend a few years ago for body hair removal and remember it working well. Which is why I was excited to try out and share a Velvet Touch Facial Hair Remover review with you.
Good Afternoon! I wanted to share something similar to oh-so-addicting subscription boxes, which is Phone Case of the Month. Instead of a curated box every month, you receive a limited edition phone case. These are great for those who like to switch up their phone cases frequently.
Good Afternoon! Since the Holiday festivities have finally ended and many of us are getting back into our daily routines, as well as making it a priority to take care of ourselves. I thought I’d share what I am using to pamper my skin, which is a Montagne Jeunesse Mask. I previously included the Montagne Jeunesse range of delightful masques in my Ultimate Pampering Gift Guide & Stocking Stuffers Guide for the Holidays. Click the links to check out those posts. 🙂
A New Year calls for a new eye liner. Hence, why I wanted to share the Stila Got Inked Cushion Eye Liner with you. These cushion eye liners came out in September, of last year (lol, 2015 being three days ago). The shade I tried out is Black Obsidian. The cushion liners are available in 6 different shades, consisting of flat and shimmery finishes.
Good Morning! Today I wanted to share a review of the subscription box, Beauty Box 5. It is my first time trying out the Beauty Box 5 and since I am quite a fan of subscription boxes, I was excited to see what products it would have. Beauty Box 5 consists of 5 products that are a mix of samples and full-sized products, which are delivered to you every month. The monthly box is $12/month
Hello! I recently posted a picture on my Instagram @AIISHWARYA.S of the Epic Illusion Contour Kit & Eye Polish Base and Top Coat by PUR Minerals. This is part 2 of that post, you can click here to read the review on the Contour Kit. I received the Eye Polish Base and Top Coat in the shade Suede.
Hello! I recently posted a picture on Instagram @AIISHWARYA.S of the Epic Illusion Contour Kit by PUR Minerals and wanted to share a thorough review of this palette with you. This past year there have been countless releases of contour and highlight palettes of all price ranges. Making it difficult to find the one that works best for you. I usually lean towards individual products for blush, contour and highlight but the Epic Illusion Contour Kit has definitely proven to be a great match for my skin tone!!!
Hello! I recently posted my 2015 Holiday Gift Guide, The Ultimate Pampering Gift Guide, and figured you might also like a Stocking Stuffers Guide. There are so many things that can be put into ones stocking. Stockings filled with little thoughful, personalized gifts are sometimes more exciting to open. I personally find that little things, make for more thoughtful and meaningful gifts. The products I have included are my own personal favourites
Hello! I have created the Ultimate Pampering Gift Guide! The idea behind this was that personally curated gifts are the best kinds of gifts. If someone on your list loves bubble baths or is often running short on sleep, a bubble bath set or under eye rejuvenating patches would make great gifts! This guide consists of products that are both essential
Hello! Today, I have Part 2 of my Essence Cosmetics haul. Continuing with the topic of great gift ideas and stocking stuffers, I was excited to share this review on their Gel Nail Polishes by Essence. Essence Cosmetics as you know is a value beauty brand, with a wide collection of high-quality products at amazingly low prices. The Gel Nail Polish collection is like a re-launch of their previous nail polishes, which provide gel quality nails without a UV-lamp. The collection consists of 16 new colors, plus the base and top coat. Their gel nail polishes are priced at $2.99. Essence’s nail polish brushes are different from other brushes. They are like flat paddle brushes, which allows for a streak free nail polish application.
Hello! Whenever I find a product that works for me, I’m always eager to share it with others who have similar concerns regarding their skin. I received the chance to try out a few products from Rodan and Fields (developed by the same dermatologists who created Proactiv) and they worked remarkably well for me. The products I tried out are the Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash from their Unblemish line and the Micro Dermabrasion paste from their Enhancements collection. As well as their Lip Renewing Serum from their Redefine line (brace yourself, I am in love with this).
Good Afternoon! Today, I wanted to share a review on a few products I got to try out from Zuzu Luxe by Gabriel Cosmetics. It is my first time trying out any products from their collection, so they are all first impressions. All of Gabriel Cosmetics products are vegan, gluten and cruelty free. Their Zuzu Luxe collection consists of a large selection of products. I got the opportunity to try out their Plume & Lava eye shadow palettes and the Zuzu Luxe Lipstick in Sandstorm.
Good Afternoon! Today, I wanted to share my 2015 Holiday Gift Guide with you! I know how overwhelming finding the right gift for those special people on your list can be. So I have compiled a list of products that I personally love and can attest that others do too! You may find my gift guide useful for getting gift ideas or helpful as product recommendations for purchasing for others or yourself. 🙂 I have done my best to make sure that of all these products are available and that they can be purchased in store or online, just in time for the Holidays.
Good Evening! Today, I wanted to share an Essence Cosmetics Makeup haul and review of products from their Fall/Winter 2015 Collection that I got to try out. Many of these products I felt like made great gifts, stocking stuffers and not to mention a good buy for yourself. So I put them all together in this one post. The products I reviewed are their Longlasting Lipstick Nudes, Lash Princess & Plump No Clump Mascara, Big Jumbo Eyeliner, How to Make Nude Eyes Makeup Box eyeshadow and Sun Club Shimmering Bronzing Powders. If you have never used any Essence products before, then you’re in for a pleasant surprise!
Hello! Today, I found the perfect planner designed by Parmeet Birdi, to make sure my 2016 is going to be as organized as can be! When I saw that it is available with personalization for only $7.99, I had to share it! We all have that one thing that we find absolutely gorgeous, purchase but never use because it’s pretty but not functional. Planners and notebooks are that ‘thing’ for me. If it has a nice cover, embossed with gold lettering, consider it sold. But due to lack of functionality they end up tucked away unused on my desk.! But not this planner. The 2016 planner is not only eye-catching with it’s golden glitter details but easy to use as well, just see below:
Good Evening! If you follow me on Instagram (@AIISHWARYA.S) you may have seen my post of the gorgeous Shimmer Shadows by CITY COLOR Cosmetics. I wanted to review and swatch 5 of them for you today, as a lot of the shades are perfect for creating looks for the holidays. This was my first time trying out City Color Cosmetics products and let me tell you, I have not come across such heavily pigmented eye shadows in quite a while. I mean the kind that require no eye primer for their colour to not only show through but have full coverage. I almost didn’t want to use them because they’re so pretty and extremely, extremely soft, like velvet.
Good Evening! Today, I wanted to share something that might possibly be a great gift idea or a perfect purchase for yourself. It is a line of oils I have been using for the last little while by the same creators of Bio Oil, called Lipidol. I was given the chance to try out the Cleansing Body Oil, Overnight Oil, After Shower Oil & Cleansing Facial Oil.
Good Morning! Today, I wanted to share with you something a little different than the usual beauty and skincare. That is the November Munch Better box review, which delivers 5 or more full size tasty, yet health conscious snacks every month. I got to try out November’s box ($28) and it consisted of the following things: Jay Coco (Wasabi Toasted Coconut Chips): Toasted coconut chips with a mix that is sweet with a kick of wasabi. Elan (Organic Wonder Trail Mix): A trail mix with dark chocolate. It is the best trail mix I’ve had in a long time. From Farm to Table (Dill Pickle Popcorn): This flavored popcorn was my favourite! It had just the right amount of flavor and was very light and airy.
