This year’s YSL Beauty Fall Look 2018 Collection is designed by Tom Pecheux, introducing Yconic Purple. Inspired by vivacious hues seen on the runway. This is one that you don’t want to miss!
Kicking off the collection review with the Tatouage Couture Metallics Lip Stain in 102 Iron Pink Spirit. This couldn’t be any more perfect, as sultry reds and berry hues are in season. This metallic red has blue undertones. The applicator on the Tatouage Lip Stain is wide and angular, to help outline and create a defined lip. Building the intensity of the lip is easy, simply apply, wait a moment for the initial layer to dry and then re-apply. There is slight transferring, however the stain stays on all day and night! The Tatouage Couture Metallics Lip Stain retails for $44 CAD.
Staying on the topic of lips, the Rouge Pur Lip Couture in 81 Violine is a deep burgundy shade. Intensely pigmented and buttery smooth, this will adorn your lips for 5 hours. Given its creamy consistency and bold shade. The Rouge Pur Lip Couture retails for $44 CAD. The NEW Dessin Des Levres – The Lip Styler is meant to line and define the lips. It is extremely emollient and provides a full coverage application in one swipe. I’ve filled in my entire lip to double the wear time of the Lip Stain. The blender attachment allows you to blur lines, to create ombre lips, which is just one of the many lip creations. Here are the shades 26 L’argent and 6 Fuscia Rouge.Dessin Des Levres – The Lip Styler retails for $37 CAD.
As a February baby, my birth stone is the Amethyst. So I am always drawn to the endless shades of purple. Like that of the La Laque Couture Nail Polish in 107 Violet Underground. A muted purple hue, requiring two coats to achieve full opacity. La Laque Couture Nail Polish retails for $32 CAD. YSL Beauty Fall Look 2018 Collection is available online and in store at Shoppers Drug Mart, The Bay, Sephora and yslbeauty.ca.
