Absolutely love reviewing makeup brushes and especially those from Luxie Beauty. I have reviewed a few before and wanted to share some more from their beautiful Rose Gold collection. The brand Luxie Beauty, honors itself for being cruelty & paraben free. It’s always nice to know that the products that we consume have been manufactured in this way.
Today, I wanted to share something a little different than my usual makeup posts. Although, lifestyle posts are not new to my blog, supplements are. I recently tried out protein supplements by Genuine Health, a nutritional supplement company, right here in Toronto. Including different flavours of Fermented Vegan Proteins+ supplements, both powder and bars. The purpose of this review is to give you my personal experience, which is relevant if you have a sensitive digestive system, like myself. As well as if you have not had a pleasant experience with protein supplements in the past.
It has yet to feel like Spring in terms of weather, but vivacious Spring Collections like Quo Prismatic Spring 2016 Collection are already in full effect
I love reading and talking about styling/hair care products and everything in between, but I rarely come across someone recommending a great hair brush. If you have always had a favourite comb like I do, then you probably never though about picking something else up. I have my favourites for my semi-thick, down my back length hair but always wonder if there’s a better brush out there to de-tangle my long hair without finding as much breakage in my comb. One such comb is The Knot Dr. Pro. Alongside a great comb, I’ve also come across the upgraded version of hair ties, which are Hair Rings by ABAA Beauty. Together these two create the perfect ponytail.
Make Up For Ever’s Pro Sculpting line has helped me heighten my contouring skills and taught me how to give my brows a a lifted look. Now with Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Lip, I’m learning to sculpt my lips.
There once was a time when I didn’t need to fill in my full, thick brows. But after many threading mishaps leading to thinner brows, I don’t leave the house without filling them in. I’m always looking for new products to help make this task a little simpler. I’ve used many eye brow pencils, which are often dual ended but Make Up For Ever 3-in-1 Brow Sculpting Pen, definitely caught my attention.
Whenever Make Up For Ever has a new release, I am always eager to try it out and have the highest hopes for their products. That’s because they have an extensive selection of shades available for their products. They are always spot on with their products for light to deep complexions. Their most recent release was the Pro Sculpting line, which uses lights and shadows to sculpt your brows, face and lips. I wanted to start by reviewing Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Palette, which seems like everything you would ever need, in one palette.
One of the most awaited collections in my books, definitely has to be, the Burberry Spring 2016 Functionregalia Collection. I really feel it has the perfect selection of functional shades without an overwhelming amount of products. You’ll really fall in love with every single product in this collection.
M·A·C’s Future Forward Collection is a collaboration with pop star Halsey, R&B singer Tinashe, rapper Dej Loaf and modern funk queen Lion Babe. Each have a bold statement limited edition product. The Future Forward Collection consists of an eyeshadow palette, lipstick, lipglass and liquidlast liner.
If you’re consistent with waxing year long, then you must know the great benefits that come with it. But in the midst of all this hair-free, smooth skin, I often come across in-grown hair, which I absolutely cannot stand. I heard about Fuzz Skin Perfecting Body Scrub by FUZZ Waxbar and was given the opportunity to try it out. Fuzz Waxbar, as it’s name implies, is a chain of wax bar’s in Toronto offering fast, waxing sessions at a great price.
My methods of exfoliating are using scrubs or using my clarisonic. So when the Konjac Sponge landed in my hands, its concept was really new to me. The only time I apply a sponge to my face is when applying my makeup, not so much for manual exfoliation. Hence, why I wanted to share my first go with the Konjac Facial Puff Sponge Bamboo Charcoal by The Konjac Sponge Company with you. I have previously included this in a Holiday Gift Guide but wanted to share an in-depth review with you.
I absolutely love using eyeshadow palettes rather than single pot shadows because the range of colours helps me to create looks with complimenting colours, that would otherwise be difficult. If the palette consists of mainly neutral shades, then say no more. I’m sold on it. Hence, why I was excited to share the CoverGirl TruNaked Goldens Eyeshadow Palette with you.
Frigid Winter weather plus washing my hair with hot water has resulted in dull, dry hair. So for the last few weeks I have been using LaCoupe Orgnx Coconut and Macadamia collection, to tame and moisturize my dry, frizzy hair. The Orgnx Coconut and Macadamia collection consists of four products, including their Nourishing Shampoo, Conditioner, Intensive Repair Treatment and Leave-in Treatment.
I wanted to share a handy, perfect for sensitive skin, easy-to-use waxing kit with you. I have experienced so many benefits with being consistent with waxing. Waxing is my preferred method of hair removal and time and time again, I have always turned back to Parissa’s Persian Cold Wax because of it’s age-old, all natural recipe. Perfect for using on your face, like this face and brow kit.
If you have an obsession for all things beauty, then you must have a organizing solution to store it all. I personally love acrylic and glass organizers. They are available in so many different designs, sizes and price points but the only problem I’ve always had is availability. I have never found a perfect, fairly large, durable organizer in store and have always been skeptical about ordering such a delicate product online. So if you’re like me and want a gorgeous organizer for your vanity or space but want the full details, then keep reading about Boxy Girl’s Makeup Organizer!
Eyeliners have always been my staple makeup product. I have only used jet black eye liners for as long as I have been wearing makeup and only recently tried out dark grey liners in attempt for a softer look. In this time I tried out Aerin Cool Gel Eyeliner, in the shade 02 Essential Brown.
I have been coming across many organic makeup brands and love seeing how well they stand up to my all time favourite makeup products, that I use daily I recently had the opportunity to try out a few products from Hynt Beauty, which is a luxury organic makeup and skincare line.
I absolutely love scents, whether perfume, scented oils, candles, fragrant dried flowers. Every room in my home should have its own scent. Just like every season you’re drawn towards a different perfume. Although, I have always looked into scented oils for relaxation, I have never gotten around to it. So I was very excited to try out MYTAO MyOrganic Perfume.
My concealer is my savior. It lets me fake a well rested face, even on the craziest days. Since I recently have been so fascinated with colour correcting, I wanted to take the time to try out a full coverage concealer, that could do the job of a corrector and concealer in one. That product is the heavy duty Rodial Airbrush Concealer.
On mornings when I want to look put together but just don’t have the time to whip out my gel eyeliner and can’t be bothered to deal with lipstick on my teeth. I cheat my way through by focusing on my eyebrows and ditching lipstick for a lip liner. Two such products which have been giving my washed out face life in the morning, are Rodial Glamobrow & XXL Lip Shaper.
