I always get excited for Vichy products, as they are a brand that just understands the different concerns with different skin types. On May 4th, Vichy launched 2 new products to their Ideal Collection. A collection containing my all time favourite, Ideal Skin Sleep Cream. The 2 new additions are Vichy Ideal Body Spa Shower Gel Cream & Oil.
My hair has been getting the ultimate treatment this Spring after I put it through an entire Winter of washing it with hot water. I have been switching through three Kerastase products and wanted to share what each worked best for. I have been using the Kerastase Elixir Kultime Beautifying oil conditioner, Chronologiste La parfum en huile and Resistance Balm in Shampoo. Keep reading to see my 3 Kerastase Must Haves!
I have to commend Mac Cosmetics latest collections and their packaging! The MAC Vibe Tribe Collection, said to be inspired by music festivals features many bright colours and bold patterns. I was very excited for this collection as it featured looks with bold eyes, bronzed skin and bright lips.
I wanted to share a Quo Cosmetics Haul of their new 2016 beauty products with you.Their collection definitely covers the majority of current makeup trends like contouring, liquid lipsticks and features shades that are perfect for Summer.
Nowadays there are at least 10 makeup products behind a ‘natural’ makeup look. A simple cleanser is not enough to take that all off before bed. Chances are you already use a Cleansing Brush or are on the hunt for one. Only after using a cleansing brush, I realized that there still were remnants of makeup on my face, that cleansers left behind. Since then I have used cleansing brushes of various types and price points but love coming across a new one to see if it is both effective and affordable. I tried out the OLAY Facial Cleansing Brush, to see just that.
Summer is right around the corner and every summer I always tell myself to have two things on hand. One being a cooling spray and the second being a tinted body moisturizer. Even naturally tanned individuals like myself need tinted moisturizers to help even out my skin tone. Who wouldn’t want a sun kissed glow, given the number of events, weddings and trips that are lined up for the summer. As well as cool down sprays which I will explain why I use. So if you’re interested in my Summer Essentials by Caudalie, keep reading!
One glance at Azzaro Pour Elle will have you purchasing it without even spritzing it first. I recently included this fragrance in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide and wanted to give you a slightly more detailed review on this gem.
I’ve always loved ESTÉE LAUDER products and from previous posts you can tell just how obsessed I am with their foundation. They have had some amazing releases within the last year. Such as the launch of the Estee Lauder New Dimension collection, which originally consisted of New Dimension Shape + Fill Expert Serum, Shape + Sculpt Face Kit and Shape + Sculpt Eye Kit. They launched three more products to their Skin Contouring Collection, consisting of New Dimension Firm + Fill Eye System, Plump + Fill Expert Lip Treatment and Tighten + Tone Neck/Chest Treatment. I got the chance to try out all 3 and mentioned these gems in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide but wanted to give you a thorough review on each.
I have been loving waist trainers and have done a thorough review about them on my blog before, which if you haven’t seen you can click here. Waist trainers, cinchers have a few other names but ultimately work to give you killer curves, a straighter posture and a boost to your fitness goals. The waist trainers I have been using are by a brand called Shaped Perfect. I received the opportunity to try out two different styles this time around and wanted to share a full review on them.
Given that contouring is now such a key step in makeup application, there is an abundance of contour products and palettes. Some appear amazing but don’t have good colour pay off and it’s hard to spot the bad from the good. I wanted to give the Smashbox Step by Step Contour Palette a try, in an attempt to find a non-muddy appearing, my skin but better product and because their products never disappoint.
I think Summer and Fall Collections are my absolute favourite. Summer collections having the most flattering shades because they take into account that everyone is rocking a glow. My summer makeup looks consists of nudes, corals, pinks and browns. That combined with dewy skin is my perfect mix. One such palette that screams Summer to me, is the Stila Perfect Me Perfect Hue Palette.
Today I wanted to share with you a review and opportunity to enter the Kerastase L’Incroyable Blowdry GIVEAWAY! Kerastase will launch it’s L’Incroyable Blowdry Lotion on May 1st and you can win yourself your own “perfect blowdry in a bottle” by entering the GIVEAWAY at the end of the blog post!!

After absolutely falling in love with the MICRO Pedi last Christmas, I was ecstatic to try out Emjoi MICRO Nail Electric Nail Polisher recently. I love my at home pedicures and hoped I could give myself an at home manicure just as well.
I love bronzed skin all year long. It is a staple product for me as foundation helps create a flawless base but takes away dimension and colour from the face, which is what bronzers add back in. But it’s not always easy to find the right shade, since many turn out looky muddy, orange and just not pleasant on my skin. I tried out MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Bronze Fusion bronzer in hopes for an all in one product. One that will give me a soft glow as well as allow me to subtly contour.
When I first saw the MAC Brooke Candy 2016 Collection, I lost it. Very rarely are there collections that I love every single product in it and that appeals to so many different complexions. The Brooke Candy collection is a second collaboration, the first was in the Fall of 2015. The collection is beautifully packaged in gunmetal casing with splattered paint effects.
I have always had fairly clear skin but when my early 20’s brought along blemishes on my outer cheeks, I didn’t know how to treat it. So I tried everything and anything to get rid of it. Currently, I don’t have any active acne but previous blemishes have left behind hyperpigmented spots on my outer cheeks. This is what I am now trying to get rid of. After Biotherm’s Aquasource line turned out to be a great match for my skin. I put Biotherm Pure-Fect Skin line to the test.
Smashbox Full Exposure Eyeshadow palettes have always been my most used palettes. Probably because they consist of the most versatile, wearable shades. That consist of nudes, browns and greys, which are mainly my go-to’s for any look. So I was thrilled to find out about the NEW Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes palette! An all matte palette!!!
I always enjoy putting at home gel polishes to the test. I am extremely impatient at nail salons, when I have my nails under a dryer/light. So I’m always on the hunt for a long wearing nail polish, with a similar finish. Sally Hansen is a brand I’ve used for as long as I can remember, or as long as I have been painting my nails. I have always gone back to their polishes because of their fast drying, chip-resistant formula, even when gel polishes weren’t a thing. So when I heard of the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel, I really wanted to give it a try.
Having only ever tried Tweezerman’s Tweezers and loving them, I was thrilled to try out other products by them. Like their Eye Defining Brush Set and ProMaster Lash Curler! I’ve heard great things about the two and wanted to see for myself, if they are what others say they are.
